Architectural facade visuals illustrating real texture, joint modulation, and profile details for this fibre cement series. Available as standalone material supply or with integrated project consultancy, facade engineering, and application.
SerFibro Smooth forms the core flat-sheet autoclaved fibre cement family within our B2B export programme, spanning EN 12467 Category A exterior facade boards and EN 12467 Category C interior partition and wet-room boards. Free of artificial surface embossing, it prioritises clean architectural proportions, crisp open shadow joints and high dimensional stability.
The smooth range spans 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 mm thicknesses across 1250 × 2500 mm (3.125 m²), 1250 × 2800 mm (3.500 m², dedicated floor-to-ceiling partition sheet in SF-SMOOTH-INT) and 1250 × 3000 mm (3.750 m²). Level 1 tolerances maintain ± 5 mm length, ± 3.75 mm width, ± 10% e thickness and ± 2 mm/m squareness.
Depending on the confirmed production line, smooth boards are classified under TX-SM-01 (standard smooth mineral), TX-SD-01 (fine sanded matte) or TX-CL-01 (calendered dense flat face). Even on flat boards, fine sanding or calendering creates a subtle directional light reflectance; installers should keep board back-stamp orientation consistent across the elevation.
SerFibro Smooth is evaluated in three distinct delivery states: uncoated raw mineral grey (showing natural cementitious tonal variation), factory-primed (prepared for compatible site-applied facade coatings), or factory-coated in confirmed architectural colours. State clearly in your enquiry whether boards will remain raw, receive site paint, or require factory finishing.
Standard supply comprises full-size rectangular sheets with square edges. If your project requires factory-trimmed squareness tolerances, chamfered edges, or repetitive modular cut-to-size blanks for prefabricated wall cassettes, share your cutting schedule early so machining feasibility, kerf waste and edge-sealing requirements can be assessed separately.
For rain-exposed ventilated facades, light-steel exterior walls and soffits, specify SF-SMOOTH-EXT (EN 12467 Category A, Class 2 MOR ≥ 7.0 N/mm²). For indoor dry partitions, 2800 mm commercial walls, bathroom/kitchen ceramic tile backing, ceilings, dry subfloors (16–20 mm) and roof underlayments, specify SF-SMOOTH-INT (EN 12467 Category C, Class 3 MOR ≥ 10.0 N/mm²).
Smooth facade boards are installed on engineered vertical aluminium, galvanized steel or timber substructures with continuous rear ventilation cavities and open perimeter joints (commonly 8–12 mm) to accommodate hygric and thermal movement. Fixing type (rivets, colour-matched facade screws or approved concealed systems), edge distances and support centres must follow the matched manufacturer installation manual and project wind-load calculation.
Apparent density, bending strength, modulus of elasticity, hygric movement, freeze-thaw durability and reaction-to-fire classification depend on the exact curing technology (autoclaved vs air-cured) and coating build-up of the supplied variant. SerFibro provides the variant-matched Technical Data Sheet (TDS) and available Declaration of Performance (DoP) prior to order confirmation so project engineers can verify compliance.
A 1250 × 2500 mm board provides 3.125 m² of gross geometric material area, while 1250 × 3000 mm provides 3.750 m². Because Smooth boards are installed with open joints rather than overlaps, geometric board area closely tracks panel face area, but edge squaring trims, window reveals and facade module offcuts typically require a 5% to 12% cutting allowance. Use our Board Quantity Estimator for preliminary planning.
High-density fibre cement boards are weight-critical cargo: road trailers and sea containers normally reach their maximum payload weight well before filling volumetric space. Boards per pallet, m² per pallet and gross pallet weight vary substantially between 6 mm and 16 mm sheets and are itemised in your shipment-specific packing summary.
Store pallets flat on level, dry indoor floors supported by evenly spaced bearers. Protect stacks from standing moisture, rain splash and direct mud; trapped water between stacked mineral boards can cause permanent efflorescence or surface staining. Lift sheets off the stack vertically by two persons rather than dragging faces across each other, and use dust extraction when cutting.
SerFibro coordinates road freight and containerised sea dispatch from Türkiye to European, UK and regional destinations. Depending on order volume and transport mode, quotations can be structured under EXW, FCA, FOB, CFR, CIF, CPT or DAP with a clearly named place. Dispatch warehouse or port is confirmed per order; our Istanbul Maltepe address serves strictly as our commercial office.
Before final specification or purchase order sign-off, request both the product-matched PDF documentation pack and physical hand samples (typically 150 × 200 mm or A4 courier format) representing the exact TX-SM-01 / TX-SD-01 / TX-CL-01 surface and finish state under review.
Standard material quotations cover SerFibro Smooth — Flat Autoclaved Fibre Cement Boards (Interior & Exterior) in the confirmed dimensions and surface state along with export palletising. Upon request, our CFY Engineering & Architecture team also provides architectural project design, modulation consultancy, facade engineering, substructure coordination, and professional site application as dedicated items in your quotation.
Weather-engineered EN 12467 Category A autoclaved exterior facade board with low thermal expansion (αt = 0.005 mm/mK), freeze-thaw durability and Class A1 fire safety across 16 variants.
High-strength autoclaved EN 12467 Category C (Class 3, MOR ≥ 10.0 N/mm²) A1 non-combustible interior board across 22 format-thickness variants including 1250 × 2800 mm floor-to-ceiling partitions.
Autoclaved 1250 × 2500 × 10 mm mass-pigmented flat facade board (EN 12467+A2 Cat. A, Class A1, RL ≥ 0.75) requiring zero site painting across 7 core shades and 5 solution topcoats.
Supply finish depends on the variant you select: uncoated mineral grey, factory-primed for site painting, and factory-coated options are quoted as distinct line items so there is never ambiguity in scope.
Choose SF-SMOOTH-EXT (EN 12467 Category A) for all exterior facades, rainscreens and weather-exposed envelopes. Choose SF-SMOOTH-INT (EN 12467 Category C, including 1250 × 2800 mm sheets) for interior walls, wet-room tile backing, ceilings, dry floors and roof underlayment.
Only when the specific supplied board carries documented exterior rainscreen approval in its raw state and natural mineral weathering, tonal variation and damp/dry colour shifts are architecturally accepted; otherwise specify a hydrophobised or coated facade variant.
Alkali-resistant, breathable exterior acrylic or mineral facade coatings compatible with the factory primer specified in the product application guide should be used, following the paint manufacturer’s surface preparation instructions.
